PaR Systems, Inc. played a large role in the Chernobyl clean-up system. This system has been featured in the summer BULLETIN and describes PaR’s TensileTruss™ Technology and the Main Cranes System (MCS) that is being installed in Chernobyl, 30 years after the accident.

The event reflected on the rich legacy of supplying the US Navy with mission critical systems, but also showcased the exciting cutting edge research and development the company has driven in recent times that has led to tangible savings for the fleet. Along with many other exciting projects, the company has been developing and delivering the world’s most advanced aircraft elevator system for the nuclear-powered Carrier CVN 79 (USS John F Kennedy).
Marine Systems Technology Ltd. (MST), a subsidiary of PaR Systems, Inc., held a grand opening for their new facility based on Road Three of Windsford’s Industrial Estate in Cheshire, United Kingdom on May 25th, 2016. MST developed COMFIRE® which is a fire-proof material that complies with the tightest safety guidelines and offers many advantages to ship and oil platform designers. COMFIRE® is non-combustible, lightweight, stable in a wet environments, and structurally robust which makes it ideal for demanding marine applications.
Marine Systems Technology Delivered Li-Ion Battery Lockers for Installation on Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers
Marine Systems Technology Ltd. (MST), a subsidiary of PaR Systems, Inc., has delivered Lithium-Ion Battery Charging and Storage Systems to Rosyth Naval Shipyard in Scotland for Installation on the Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers. The cabinets will provide both charging and storage facility for different Lithium-Ion Batteries used aboard ship. The charging and storage system incorporates COMFIRE®, the most advanced fireproof composite technology available.
PaR Marine has successfully accomplished a major testing gate toward fully qualifying the new electric system for the U.S. Navy. The significant performance testing gate qualification for the first Electric Aircraft Elevator (E-ACE) was completed on February 19th, 2016 and this system will be installed on the John F. Kennedy (CVN 79) for Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE:HII). This accomplishment further solidifies PaR Marine as the leading provider of aircraft elevators for the global Naval market.
