PaR Systems remote material handling and robotic systems are deployed around the world in high radiation and other hazardous environments.

Decontamination and Decommissioning Equipment

PaR has experience building and supplying equipment solutions around the world to support decontamination and decommissioning projects. For example, PaR is enabling the decommissioning of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant by delivering the New Safe Confinement's Main Crane System based on our Tensile TrussTM robotic motion platform technology.

Remote Material Handling

PaR enables the operators of the Advanced Mixed Waste Treatment Plant at Idaho National Laboratory to open previously buried waste containers in remote locations using the Box Opening Robot (BOGR). In addition, PaR technology can process waste from the boxes using two Box Line Remote Handling Systems.

Nuclear Process Facilities

PaR Systems remote handling systems are deployed around the world in nuclear fuel cycle and waste management facilities. These systems operate process equipment and utility services in the highest radiation environments. One example of our work is the Defense Waste Processing Facility at the Savannah River Site where PaR has provided remote-operated manipulator systems for more than 30 years.

Inspection

Real-time x-ray inspection of radioactive waste container contents is conducted using PaR's robotic positioners to stage waste boxes and barrels. PaR performs inspections for radwaste containers in real-time and for your records and documentation.
