Jered can provide all types of anchor windlasses from vertical shaft Mil-Spec combined wildcat/capstan as used on the U.S. Navy destroyers to horizontal shaft, single or dual wildcat versions for commercial marine applications. All electric or electro hydraulic designs are available along with many other variations of deck machinery.

Jered has provided all the electro hydraulic anchor windlasses for the U.S. Navy's CVN class aircraft carriers. These units handle 4 ½" diameter chain and a 60,000 lb. anchor. The newest carrier, CVN-78, incorporates an electric drive anchor windlass.
