Milling Systems
PaR Systems' MR®125 Marine Milling System provides a large work envelope milling system for cutting complex contours in a
variety of materials used to manufacture tooling for fiberglass boat production. Integrated kinematics offers full five axis
contouring while maintaining tool tip normality to the cutting surface. The five axes of integrated motion offers designers the
freedom to add complicated contours into their designs and offers manufacturing the confidence to cut those complex surfaces.
The MR®125 benefits from PaR Systems CIMROC® 5/21 controller, which provides the precision motion control necessary for complex
five axis cutting. The CIMROC® 5/21 is a PC-based, open architecture controller with a Windows® operating system making it user-friendly. The MR®125 comes standard with a teach pendant to allow manual positioning within the work cell. The system's
ability to perform full 4x4 part transformations to accurately reposition parts in the work envelope makes it ideal for long parts
or areas with limited space to install a long machine.
The MR®125 is available in standard sizes from 30' x 15' x 8' to 60' x 20' x 10'. Custom sizes are also available. PaR Systems patented telescoping tube design is used on the MR®125 to provide full Z axis travel without a large
ceiling height requirement. A 16HP Colombo® spindle with HSK 63-F tool holder comes standard on the MR®125. A six-station
automatic tool changer is available with the system.
The MR®125 can also be used as a combination waterjet cutting system and router for trimming applications in fiberglass part
production. The pure water, high pressure stream cleanly cuts fiberglass parts without damage to the gel coat. The versatility of the MR®125 is ideal for both tooling and part production.
