11-13 Strategic Buyer
The Strategic Buyer is responsible for the development and execution of sourcing strategies to achieve best total value for the business, including commodity management strategies and execution, supplier relationship management, negotiation and supply base performance management. This position also supports purchasing activities through the new product development process including supplier identification, qualification and selection. This position also collaborates with senior functional leaders to establish both short and long term business objectives; performs all purchasing functions including quoting, and creating purchase orders and expediting materials per production/program needs.
The ideal candidate will have the following Skills and Qualifications:
- Four year degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or related field. MBA a plus.
- CSPM/APICS certification is preferred.
- Minimum of ten (10) years progressive experience in Sourcing and Commodity Management.
- Full understanding of Supply Chain Management.
- Ability to design and implement world class supply chain solutions.
- Demonstrated supplier management skills.
- Ability to analyze strategic options and their direct potential and indirect impact on the organization.
- Experienced project management leader; able to collaborate and align with diverse cross functional matrix teams.

11-10 Aerospace Sales Manager
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the profitable growth of sales in the aerospace market. This will require working with all customer constituencies as well as the PaR matrix organization that includes program management, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and field service individuals, and contracted marketing and sales services (reps) if appropriate. The position will coordinate and implement sales plans for current and future PaR product and service offerings. Critical success factors for this role include development and execution of customer and product sales plans, collection of competitive pricing information, assessments of competitive delivery schedules and product features. Key measures of success will be bookings, revenue, gross margins and expense management. Considerable international travel will be required.
Qualified applicants will have the following:
- BS degree in engineering
- 10 or more years business experience in sales, engineering or project management.
- Experience in robotics, machine tools or other capital equipment sold to the aerospace industry.
- Experience in dealing with both technical and high level customer situations.

Craft Technician - Assembly
Direct Hire: This position will perform assembly of ship systems and major crane components including bridge assembly and mounting of major components. Qualified applicant must have qualifications or a minimum of three years related experience working in a heavy industrial environment. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical assembly drawing. Additionally, experience in layout, assembly and alignment of motors, couplings, gearboxes and shafts is required. The ability to use a wide range of hand tools, small lathes, milling, grinding and drilling machines is required. Craft Technician - Fabrication
Direct Hire: Prep, layout and fabricate steel structures, primarily mild steel using SMAW and FCAW processes in all positions. Must be able to comprehend and exercise specifications of Mil-Std 248, 278, and 1689. Qualified applicant must have a minimum of 3yrs related exp and the ability to obtain and maintain required certification. Candidates with shipyard blueprint and fitting experience preferred. Ability to manage and improve production budgets while maintaining customer quality expectations essential. Demonstrated success as a team player and excellent communication skills are required.
Machinist
Direct Hire: Produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. Should have experience with detailed work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). Candidate will programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs. Qualified candidate will have 5 years of related work experience. College classes in technical discipline preferred or related work experience. Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
Finance Director
Responsible for providing the financial leadership and support to ensure profitable growth by partnering with the functional and business leaders. Oversee and direct the preparation of reports identifying actual performance to budget and forecasts with management review. Provides financial leadership to operations, engineering and program managers ensuring integrity of operating statements and metrics while driving improvement initiatives throughout the organization. Be a key leader on the management team in driving the assessment, development, and implementation of the overall strategic directions to ensure continued strong financial success of the business. Provide financial leadership for budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and strategic planning. Prepare segment financial analysis including competitive financial data. Lead the financial analysis and business case analysis in support of division and/or corporate acquisition opportunities. Generate forecasts and analyze trends. Coordinate monthly project reviews, working with Program and Project Managers. Perform data extraction. Assist in managing financial systems with the corporate finance team. Conduct special financial and business related studies. Organize, supervise and train assigned personnel, to ensure development of the organization and each individual's full work potential.
Engineering Director
Responsible for the strategic planning and direction of the PaR Marine engineering organization. Partner with the leadership team to implement team strategy and ensure effective product development and develop policies and controls to ensure compliance with quality standards. Provide management and technical leadership and direction to accomplish the corporate objectives with the maximum utilization of resources. Develop long-term manning forecast based upon marketing sales projections. Conduct design reviews to critique engineering solutions in developing cost-effective equipment that exceed the customer expectation. Maintain active patent files and provide technical support to personnel to promote the development of new ideas, which advance our technical exclusivity through patentability. Adjust manpower accordingly to support non-scheduled problems in the shop, in the field, or to support sales. Manage and supervise engineering personnel by conducting periodic performance evaluations, disciplining, and counseling employees, as needed, to comply with company policies and performance expectations; and by providing training to employees, as needed, to facilitate adequate performance of job functions and to comply with company policy. Manages the department through effective utilization of all staff supervisors.

Review and/ or establish the technical requirements and quality provisions on PaR Marine products: elevators, cranes, steering gears, large structural doors and similar marine products. Drive product technical development and enhancements to provide the most advanced product to the customer as well as the best manufacturability. B.S. Degree in Engineering or higher. Minimum of 10 years' experience in an appropriate technical discipline.
