Our Technologies:

Backscatter Radiography

Backscatter Radiography utilizes digital detectors on the same side as the source and (in certain applications) can be more sensitive than traditional x-ray techniques. Large components can be inspected using backscatter x-ray, providing x-ray data on hardware previously not possible.

Computed Tomography

Computed Tomography techniques are available to evaluate internal structure where digital geometry processing is used to generate a three-dimensional image of the internal structure of an object from a large series of two-dimensional X-ray images taken around a single axis of rotation.

Digital / Computed Radiography

Through transmission digital radiographic images can be provided utilizing either rigid digital detector or thin flexible image plates which are digitally scanned. Our systems can examine critical welds ranging from heavy aluminum structures to thin wall tubing.

Eddy Current

Eddy current inspection methods are used extensively to locate tiny cracks that are too small to be detected by visual means.

Magnetic Particle

Magnetic particle inspection is available for detecting surface and near subsurface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials.

Dye Penetrant

Dye penetrant techniques that use liquids and/or dyes to penetrate cracks and voids, highlighting discontinuities in parts.

Laser Ultrasonic

A LaserUT® system is an automated ultrasonic scanning unit designed to detect defects (delaminations, inclusions, voids, disbonds, and porosity) in advanced composite structures.
