The New State-of-the-Art Facility Will Boost PAR’s Capacity by 40%
Shoreview, MN – November 11, 2024 – PAR Systems, a global leader in automation technology, is excited to announce the expansion of its operations with the groundbreaking of a new approximately 140,000-square-foot facility adjacent to its current campus. This expansion reflects PAR Systems’ commitment to growing its capabilities to meet increasing customer demand while enhancing the customer experience through improved production capacity and technology-driven solutions.
The new state-of-the-art facility will boost PAR’s capacity by 40%, enabling the company to better serve its global customer base with faster project turnaround times and enhanced capabilities. It will feature a Class 10,000 (ISO 7) cleanroom along with three cutting-edge process and development labs focused on machine vision, robotics and friction stir welding. These labs will function as innovation hubs for research and development and customer proof-of-concept projects, driving forward new solutions. The expanded space will also allow PAR to grow its talented team and continue delivering groundbreaking automation solutions across multiple industries.

The project is being developed in collaboration with RJ Ryan, Pope Architects and Scannell Properties. The larger facility is expected to significantly enhance PAR’s ability to support high-demand projects across all industries including life sciences, aerospace and nuclear.
Tom Simonson, Shoreview’s Community Development Director, shared his excitement at the city’s Economic Development Authority meeting, stating, “We’re really excited that they’re pursuing this. We’ve considered them one of our key landmark or legacy companies in Shoreview.”
The groundbreaking ceremony took place on Nov. 8, 2024, with construction set to begin shortly afterward. The expansion is part of PAR Systems’ broader growth strategy to enhance its footprint in Shoreview and create additional employment opportunities as the company scales to support growing customer demands.
